DIY - Tailor's dummy Eng/Cz

Hi fellows!

So...how to make your own tailor's dummy? I used this tutorial -> Tailor's dummy tutorial

I think it's pretty easy. You have to just ask for help from someone, buy the silver duct tape (I bought it in stationery). Wear some old tshirt and let your friend or whoever help you wrap.

In the end, you will have perfect copy of your body and it's cheaper than original tailor's dummy (at least in our country...especially when you are poor student :D).

We did this dummy twice. The first one was for Naira. We fill it with expanding foam...but...I wouldn't recommend it because in the end...the foam changed the shape of the body.
The second dummy was for me. I've started to fill it with pieces of crumpled papers and newspapers. And it's much more better!

I also make a stand from wooden rod and hanger :D (lot of duct tape used)

Snad poprvé tu píšu něco česky, možná v tom budu pokračovat, protože angličtina není zrovna můj silný jazyk XD

Každopádně, tenhle článek je spíš jen taková reklama na odkaz, který jsem vložila hned na začátku. Je to, dle mého, hezký tutoriál jak na vlastní krejčovskou pannu, pokud jste chudí studenti jako já :D

Potřebujete k tomu jen takovou tu stříbrnou pásku (myslím, že se jí říká i kobercovka), nějaké staré triko, které budete moci pak rozstřihnout a kamaráda, co vám pomůže, protože sám...to byste asi nedali (a pokud jo, hoďte sem tutoriál :D). Celé kouzlo je pak v tom, že vás kamarád/ka obmotá tou páskou (podle toho obrázkového návodu viz. nahoře odkaz), a ve finále jen rozstřihnete záda, znovu slepíte, díry zalepíte třeba kusem kartonu a vyplníte, nejlépe, zmačkanými kousky/útržky novin, papírů atd. Zkoušeli jsme na první pannu montážní pěnu, ale udělalo to jen neplechu a změnilo to tvar panny. Papír/noviny jsou docela lepší, dokonce nám to doporučila prodavačka v galanterce :D

Nu, můžu vám jen popřát hodně štěstí, vážně na tom žádná věda není, je to docela levný (já našla pásky v papírnictví za 44,-) a uděláte si přesnou kopii vašeho těla c:

New addiction called BJD

Hello creatures from all the universe!

I think that I have to be f*cking annoying for my friends because few recent days I just talk about BJDs!!!
BJD are Ball jointed dolls and basically they look pretty real and they are really beautiful!!
To be honest I know about their existence for a long time but I'd never been so interested in them at all .___. but somehow....this month....I've started to love them! To adore them! To be addicted!

I also made my mind and I totally want to save money and buy this beauty -> My future doll!! >w< 

I already know what her character will be like because she will be one of my precious OC from RPGs that I played. Her name is Miyako Nana (Nana is name, Miyako surname), she is the vampire "princess". She is from very rich and honorable family. She behaves like a real young and well-behaved lady, she looks pretty quite and shy....but the truth is that she is pretty mean/wicked.....but everybody loves her! :D

Gaaah I just can't wait!! I'm also finding job right now...so I hope that I will earn lot of money ASAP  and save mooore money to buy her!! :D Wish me luck! :)

And sorry for my English x.x Oh btw! I pass the FCE test and gain the certificate :) But....I don't feel like...like my level is already...or should be already B2 :'D I can't believe it! :D

GLaDOS - Portal 2

So another cosplay from Advik was personification of Glados from game "Portal 2". 

It was my first cosplay with lights!! The "eye" is made from cardboard and acrylic colour (black part is made of foam/moosgummi).

Frankly speaking my inspiration for this cosplay was Tenori-Tiger (and her "eye"...I don't like the big "eyes" that majority of cosplayers wear :<) and I made the dress based on those pictures ↓

Scheherazade from Magi

Hi there! It's been a long time~

It's about 3 weeks we were on festival/con called Advik in Prague, so I think that it's time to show you our new cosplayes!

So let's start! To be honest I (and lot of other people) love this photo! The funny thing about it is that I was laughing to something and it wasn't aim to look like that....but...it's one of the best photos I have :D

How to wash and comb your wig!

Hello guys!

After summer when I lot of time were my long purple wig for Ririchiyo....the wig looked awfully.
So I started searching for some tutorials "how to wash wig". I found lot of them and most of them were same. I decided to write here my steps of washing and combing wig.

So here is my wig how it looked before:

 

I used: 

• fabric softener
• conditioner
• tower
• hair comb
• hair brush
• hair straightener/iron

The steps:

1. I gently brush it before I put it on bath(tub). Just for loosing up the biggest tangles.
2. Prepare the bath, run the water. Water shoudn't be too cold or too hot!!! Just lukewarm. I added the fabric softener (cup from fabric softener or two caps of this softener should be enough). 
3. I put the wig into the water. I run fingers through the wig. Do not comb it!After this you can pull out the wig from bath. 
4. Carefully dry your wig with the towel and put the wig on some straight place. I used ironing board.
5. Take some mist blower and mix conditioner with water (lukewarm water!). 
6. Devide/seperate the wig to strands. For the each strand use the mist blower with conditioner and comb it. I mostly used the comb than the brush. 
7. When your wig is combed out, let it dry up (wait until it become dry).
8. When the wig is almost dry prepare the hair iron and use it for each strand and comb it out again. 
9. You should be finished! Congratulation! The wig should smell nicely and look better than before :)

Kimchi Bambi Green Lens

Hi again :')

Here are some new lens! I bought them here -> Click >w< last year. Btw I also have started to buy circle lenses from www.lensvillage.com. Lenses are cheaper, shipping is cheaper too and the service is great! 

These lenses are very comfortable! I and Naira bought them because of Scanty & Kneesocks cosplay and I think that they are perfect!! With our costumes they look really evil/scary! But I shouldn't wear them in normal life :'D people around me would be afraid of me and would think that I'm crazy person ^^ (In czech isn't normal to wear circle color lenses T.T). Lenses don't scrape in eyes and they perfectly cover my brown eyes and they look exactly as in the picture on lensvillage.com :)

EOS Dolly Eye Green lenses

Hello friends! ^^

So here I want to show you another circle lenses that I bought last year.

I think that they look quite scary (but it should be just my bad feeling :') ) but they perfectly cover my brown eyes! I use them for cosplay of Mavis from Fairy Tail (you can see the blond wig :D). They are comfortable and they don't scrape in eyes.

EOS New Adult Violet lenses

So here are another lenses that I bought. I wear it with Ririchiyo cosplay and I really love them :3 They look beautifuly on eyes and they also are good for everyday wearing :)

Some news~

Hello there!

It's been long time since I write there ^^ soo~ I have some news .... probably not so much interesting :')

1) Naira is going to have prom/graduation ball on the first weekend in February ^~^ of course that I will join so we both are really looking forward it :3

2) We are going to CosplayParty in Prague which is in March....and we probably will have new cosplays from game The Witch's house - Viola x Elena :3

3) In May Naira is going to have maturita exams (good luck to you!!! >~<) but because of this she couldn't go to AnimeFest which is anime/cosplay festival in Brno and in Czech Republic it is the most popular festival >.> I'm going there :) But now I won't tell you my plans because I still can't decide which cosplay I will make (one is sure...but still it's a secret) :D

-> I think that those informations are enough :) btw this year we are going to have lot of cosplays from games~ so be prepared and I hope you will like it :)

Shironuri test

Hello there ^^ The new school year have already started and I found out something awesome! Do you know Minori? She is awesome japanese girl who invented style called Mori -> Shironuri (shironuri mean something like "to have white face"). Hello :) Here are some new pictures that I did in Paint tool sai :D I think that I'm little bit better, but still not awesome as other artists :)

Scanty's gun

Hi there ^^ I'm working on Scanty's gun, so here is some photos that might help you :)

I draw the gun on cardboard.

Next step was that I cut it.

I cut 3 pieces of gun and pasted it together.

And after I put more and smaller pieces of cardboard to it. It look better and the gun is tougher. 

And I covered the gun to look more "realistic", but it is still cardboard XD

I need two of them, so same steps :)

And here is one gone covered by papermash, exactly I just put piece of paper and glue it on it :D

And here I colored it with acrylic black color :)

And that's all. When the gun will be dry I just take yellow tape and do the yellow part of the gun. Next steps in next article :) By~ Yuzu
